Here is the paper pattern of English compulsory ninth
class SSC-1 for 2012 – 2013 onward, as issued by the Punjab boards: BISE
Rawalpindi, BISE Lahore, Multan, Gujranwala, Sargodha,
Bahawalpur, DG Khan, Sahiwal and Faisalabad Boards. According to this
scheme of assessment, there is 33% choice in both the short answer questions
and the essay type questions and at least 10% questions must be unseen.

The part 1 of the question paper of English 9th
class will be objective, one question of 19 marks of four parts.
Part (a) Use of correct form of verb
Part (b) Choice of correct spelling
Part (c) Synonyms/antonyms
Part (d) Correct options according to grammar.

Pattern For The Subjective Part of The Question Paper of 9th Class SSC-I 2012-2013
The part 2 of the question paper is subjective, in
this part the first question is answer of five short questions out of eight; 66% questions will be included from exercises and 34% questions from text.
The second question is to translate into Urdu /re-write into simple English, two out of three paragraphs from text book. The third question is to write summary of poem or explain a stanza. The fifth question is using word/idioms in sentences. Sixth question has three options letter, story and dialog. 7th question is translate Urdu sentences into English 5 out of 8 and the last question is change the voice of sentences any five of eight.

Cover Sheet of Answer Book Punjab BISE
The candidates appearing in examination 2013 of Boards of Intermediate and Secondary Education within Punjab have to use a computerized answer sheet for the use of computer marking. They have to write their roll numbers and other information in this computer sheet. They have to fill/shade the required circles to show the MCQs answer. The candidates are advised to go through this computer sheet to know how to fill it correctly, any error in filling or incorrect method can result the answers wrong and may cause other loss.
